Michael Russell is the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning in the Scottish Government. You can find more information about him, and the other Ministers, on the Scottish Government website.

Mr Russell is visiting Pittsburgh, Toronto and San Francisco, from the 5th to the 10th of April, to undertake a series of business, cultural and education-related meetings as part of Scotland Week 2010.

Highlights of the Education Secretary’s programme include a speech at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, on building Scotland’s future on the legacy of past successes, visits to schools and colleges in Canada and California and a meeting with Apple Computers.
